Hanane Boujemi is Diplo Research Associate and Tutor of the MENA region group in the Capacity Building program on Internet Governance. She also coordinated Diplo’s IG research projects for two years. She is involved in the policy making process namely the IGF and ICANN and also part of the Internet Governance Caucus and a member of the dynamic coalition on Intellectual Property Rights. She is an independent consultant of UNESCWA since 2009 and contributed in the report on “Internet Governance: Challenges & prospects for the Arab region” and the Regional Roadmap on IG. She also contributes regularly in other IG related publications with APC and GISWatch.

Economist by vocation holding a bachelor degree in Business& commerce from Hassan II university and Sorbonne but also have a legal background as I have a Master degree in Human Rights and democratization from University of Malta & University of London, studied English literature and linguistics at Mohammed V -Morocco.
