Felix Freitag is associate Professor at the Computer Architecture Department, which he joined in 1999. He obtained the PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from UPC in 1998. His research in the last years has focused on edge community clouds, to which he has made scientific and practical contributions around the Cloudy distribution. He coordinated the FP7 CLOMMUNITY project and participated in the FP7 CONFINE project. He organized in scientific conferences the CNBuB workshop on community networks.
