Daiane Araujo dos Santos is a Brazilian activist in human rights and at Information and Communication Technologies field.

Living in the periphery of the south of São Paulo, she graduated in Geography in 2018 and, since 2010, she works in social movements to fight for the rights of children and youth at her neighborhood, being one of the coordinators of the community network Rede Base Comum (São Paulo, Brazil). She has been a member of the institutions that designed the community network in a peripheral region of São Paulo: Instituto Pedro Macambira, where she is a member since its foundation in 2013, and Casa dos Meninos Association since 2010.

She led the process to built the first version of the community network trough a public announcement promoted by São Paulo City Hall in 2015. She also coordinated the Digital Networks Workshop, a meeting held at the Casa dos Meninos Association in November 2016, bringing together local activists and specialists in digital networks and mesh networks. From 2011 and 2017, she also coordinated 10 audiovisual production workshops with students from the local public school EMEF Procópio Ferreira.
