Aimilia Voulvouli is a social anthropologist specialising on collective action and the commons. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the ERC funded project “Heteropolitics: Refiguring the Common and the Political” investigating commoning practices in Greece, Italy and Spain and is also teaching at the Post-graduate Studies Progamme “Social and Solidarity Economy” of the Hellenic Open Unviversity. She has published on collective action in Turkey and Greece and she has authored a number of opinion scholarly articles on the subject. Aimilia has contributed to the piece “Connecting the Unconnected in Rural Greece: The case of sarantaporo.gr, on which she has conducted ethnographic research - funded from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme No724692 - She is currently conducting fieldwork on a “social economy ecosystem” in Central Greece.
