Dr Syed Sultan Kazi

Syed is a development professional and working in the space of ICT for Development and Social Innovation for over 18 years now in India. His current focus is on – ICT Environment and climate change, Circular Economy in Electronics and Electrical Sector, Gender and ICT, Digital Financial Inclusion, and Digital Rights and Access. He has worked in various capacities and areas including programme design, development, implementation, assessment, partnership development, fund raising, research, and advocacy. He is currently Advisor & Lead Consultant at Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF), a prominent ICT for development agency in India and South Asia. Otherwise, he is heading the Council for Social and Digital Development (CSDD), a research, policy organisation for social and digital innovations for sustainable development in India. He is also serving as a Director at Improving Public Library Movement (IPLM) Foundation. Mr. Kazi has few research and published works. He is an MPhil and PhD from the Centre for the Study of Law & Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
