Maryanne Muriuki

Ms. Maryanne Muriuki is a young Kenyan professional working in the area of communicating disaster risk. She has over 12 years experience in disaster risk reduction, diplomacy, technology, and knowledge management. She currently supports communication of the Africa Youth Advisory Board on Disaster Risk Reduction under the African Union Commission (AUC), where she also represents Kenya and is the IGAD region liaison point. Ms. Muriuki has a background in disaster management and international diplomacy.
