Academic of the Institute of Communication and Image (ICEI) of the University of Chile. She teaches in areas such as Journalism and Digital Communication, Technology, Communication and Feminisms at the School of Journalism of the University of Chile. Her areas of study are: digital communication and technologies, social uses of digital technologies, digital activism, technofeminism, inclusion and digital exclusion and public policies, right to communication and technologies. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Datos Protegidos Foundation, Chile and is an associate researcher at the Latin American Observatory for Media and Convergence Regulation- OBSERVACOM.

She has been a researcher and project coordinator at the Center for Studies on Social Inclusion and Knowledge Society of the University of La Frontera, Temuco and at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences -FLACSO Chile.
