Mr. Jabhera Matogoro is currently working as Assistant Lecturer at College of Informatics and Virtual Education of the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, East Africa. Mr. Matogoro graduated Master of Science in Computer Science from University of Dodoma in November, 2011 and from University of Dar es Salaam with Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2008. He is currently pursuing PhD in Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Dodoma since 2014.
After receiving his first degree from University of Dar es Salaam, Mr. Matogoro joined University of Dar es Salaam Computing Centre (UCC) in November, 2008 as Instructor CUM Technical Staff doing both teaching activities and offering technical support. In September, 2009 he joined the University of Dodoma as Computer Programmer/System Analyst I.
Mr. Matogoro has served in different positions including; Coordinator – Microsoft Innovation Centre, Tanzania; Technical Manager – Dodoma Internet Exchange Point; Interim Secretary – ISOC Tanzania Chapter. He is also a member of Second ICANN Security, Stability and Resiliency Review Team (ICANN SSR2 RT) representing Internet end users through At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and Africa Continent.
Mr. Matogoro is married to Pendo Mseti and blessed with four children. His areas of research are wireless and mobile communication, cyber security, broadband communication, and telecommunication and computer networks.
