Rick is the current National Coordinator of Computer Professionals' Union (CPU). CPU has been working with various non-profits in the Philippines on their technical needs for different advocacies. The group is also active on ICT issues which impact the lives of the grassroots, particularly on Freedom of Information, Privacy of Information, Free and Open Source Software, use of appropriate technology and propagation of ICT for the people (ICT4P).
